The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is set to host one of the largest weekends of the athletic events of the year May 5-6. The Warhawks will host the 2023 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, a four-game series for baseball including senior day recognition and a softball doubleheader featuring alumni day and a special recognition ceremony. Below is information for each event.
WIAC OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS (presented by Culver's)
-Competition Dates: Friday-Saturday, May 5-6
-Location: Foster Track (1062 Schwager Dr., Whitewater, WI 53190)
-Fan Parking: Lot 22 (overflow - Lot 11)
-Fan Entrance: Track/Soccer Gate in Lot 22 ONLY
-Admission: Adults - $14 for 2-day pass; $8 for 1-day pass
Youth (HS and under)/Senior - $10 for 2-day pass; $6 for 1-day pass
WIAC Students - Free with ID
-Concessions: Limited concessions will be available during the championships

BASEBALL vs. UW-PLATTEVILLE
-Competition Dates: Friday, May 5 - DH beginning at 1 pm; Saturday, May 6 DH beginning at 12 pm
-Location: Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium (910 W. Schwager Dr., Whitewater, WI 53190)
-Fan Parking: Lot 22 (overflow parking - Lot 24 or Lot 11)
-Fan Entrance: Baseball Gate in Lot 22 ONLY
-Admission: Adults - $5; Youth/Seniors/UWW Students - Free
-Concessions: Available on site through the duration of competition both days
-Tailgating: Allowed - please do not take up multiple parking spaces

SOFTBALL vs. UW-LA CROSSE

-Special Recognition: 2008 National Runner-Up Team before game one; Alumni in the 6th inning of game one/between games
-Location: van Steenderen Softball Complex (910 W. Schwager Dr., Whitewater, WI 53190)
-Fan Parking: Lot 24
-Fan Entrance: Softball Gate in Lot 24 ONLY
-Admission: Adults - $5; Youth/Seniors/UWW Students - Free
-Concessions: No concessions will be available
-Tailgating: Allowed - please do not take up multiple parking spaces

Fans will only be allowed to enter at the specific gates listed above for each event. Please be courteous when tailgating and leave parking spaces open for fans to park. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited inside athletic complexes at UW-Whitewater with the exception of inside the Clubhouse at Miller Stadium which is closely monitored.
Only credentialed photographers will be allowed inside the gated areas at the track and field championships. Photographers must be working for a competing institution or media organization. To request a credential, contact Angela Kelm, kelmam16@uww.edu.
