Offensive: Tommy Novotny - Freshman - Running Back - Milwaukee, Wis./Marquette

Tommy Novotny accounted for three touchdowns in the Warhawks' 69-0 shutout at Keystone last week. The freshman averaged 11.0 yards per carry totaling 99 yards on nine attempts, including a pair of rushing touchdowns. Novotny added a 45-yard punt return for touchdown in the second quarter. 

Defensive: Walker Powers - Junior - Defensive Line - Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago

Walker Powers paced the impressive Warhawk defense that held the Giants to just a single rushing yards and 69 yards of total offense Saturday. Powers led UWW with five tackles including 1.5 tackles for a loss of nine yards and a sack for eight yards. He forced one fumble and recovered three of Keystone's seven fumbles in the contest, returning one for 22 yards. 

Special Teams: Hunter Liszka - Sophomore - Kicker - St. Charles, Ill./North

UW-Whitewater placekicker Hunter Liszka was a perfect 8-8 in point after attempts in the Warhawks' 69-0 shutout win over Keystone last week. For the season, he is 22-22 on extra points.

Norah Berken – Junior – Kaukauna, Wis./Kaukauna

Norah Berken led UW-Whitewater to a sixth place finish at the Warhawks' annual fall invite in Madison. The junior jumped two spots Monday after carding a +6. She tied for 10th individually with a two-day total of 157 (79-78).

Offensive: Agostino Angelini – Freshman – Midfielder – Hamilton, Ontario, Canada/Bishop Ryan Catholic
 

Agostino Angelini helped the Warhawks build a comeback victory over Elmhurst University in Sunday night action. Angelini delivered the corner kick for the primary assist on the game-tying goal as the Warhawks were trailing 1-0. Just a few minutes later, Angelini scored his first collegiate goal, the eventual game-winner to put the Warhawks up 2-1 over the Blue Jays.
 

Defensive: Mitchell Tackney – Sophomore – Midfielder – Dubuque, Iowa/Dubuque Hempstead

Mitchell Tackney led the Warhawks from the defensive midfield this past week in a 4-1 win over Elmhurst and a close 2-1 loss to (#RV) North Park. Tackney played a total of 159 minutes over the two games, helping the Warhawks control the midfield.

Offensive: Brooklynn Carlson – Junior – Forward – Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central

Brooklynn Carlson recorded her first collegiate hat-trick, the Warhawks second of the season, with three goals against Alverno College on Saturday. Carlson dealt out an assist on the Warhawks goal in the 16th minute, then scored back-to-back goals in the 22nd and 25th minute before completing the hat trick in the 63rd minute. Earlier in the week against Wheaton College, Carlson had the assist on the lone goal of the game to give the Warhawks a 1-0 win. On the week, Brooklynn Carlson recorded three goals and two assists. 

Defensive: Isabella Torres – Junior – Defender – Joliet, Ill./Joliet Central

Isabella Torres and the Warhawks defense recorded three clean sheets over the past week as the team went 2-0-1. Over the course of the three games, UW-Whitewater only allowed 15 total shots with only six on goal and only five corners. Torres and the defense held Carroll to just a single corner in the game last Monday, and finished the week with a perfect defensive sheet of no corners and no shots on goal against Alverno College on Saturday. The Warhawks have recorded a total of eight clean sheets on the season.

Singles: Abigail Weaver – Junior – Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawaka Marian

Abigail Weaver reached the quarterfinal match of the ITA Midwest Regionals this past weekend in St. Peter, Minnesota. Weaver started the tournament with a first round bye as the second overall seed. The second and third rounds were both straight set wins only dropping one total game (6-0, 6-0 in R64 vs. Hagness-COE & 6-0, 6-1 in R32 vs Popp-CUW). Weaver faced conference-opponent Lily Jorgenson from UW-La Crosse in the Round of 16, defeating the No. 9-seed 6-3, 6-3. Weaver fell in a close quarterfinal match (5-7, 5-7) on Sunday against the No. 5-seed Rory Wahlstrand from Gustavus Adolphus.

Doubles: Ava Andrae – Sophomore – Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg & Abigail Weaver – Junior – Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawaka Marian

Ava Andrae and Abigail Weaver reached the Semifinal match in the ITA Midwest Regional this past weekend in St. Peter, Minnesota. After a first round bye, the Warhawk duo won their first three matches with scores of 8-5, 8-2, and 8-4. In the semifinal match, Andrae and Weaver fell to the top-overall seed and eventual champions from Gustavus Adolphus. 

Offensive: Abbie Dix – Senior – Middle Hitter – Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead

Abbie Dix led UW-Whitewater to a 3-1 win over UW-Stout in the team's WIAC-opener last week. Dix paced UWW offensively hitting .619 with 14 kills in 21 attempts while committing just a single attack error. The league's leading blocker also added six blocks to her season total. For the week, Dix averaged 3.50 kills and 1.50 blocks per set.

Defensive: Abbie Dix – Senior – Middle Hitter – Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead

The league's leading blocker, Abbie Dix, had another great week at the net. Dix tallied six blocks in the Warhawks' 3-1 win over UW-Stout. She also paced UWW offensively hitting .619 with 14 kills in 21 attempts while committing just a single attack error. For the week, Dix averaged 3.50 kills and 1.50 blocks per set as the Warhawks kicked off the WIAC slate with a win.
