The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team punched its ticket to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 15th consecutive season with a pair of wins in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Team Tournament presented by Culver's Saturday.
The Warhawks won their 16th straight WIAC title in the fall to claim hosting privileges for the four-team league tournament. On Saturday, UWW shutout UW-La Crosse 5-0 in a semifinal and UW-Eau Claire 5-0 in the championship. WIAC tournament matches are only played to decision.
