The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team opened their spring trip in California with an 8-1 win over No. 17 Chapman University. 

The Warhawks battled through a couple of tough matches to nearly sweep the dual. UWW will be back in action Monday against the College of the Desert in Palm Desert.
