Women's Soccer falls to Top 10 Eagles

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team lost 3-0 today against #10 UW-La Crosse. The Eagles scored all three goals in the first half, but UW-Whitewater was unable to overcome the deficit.

The Eagles opened up the scoreboard at the 10-mark and would add another two goals before the end of the first half at 35 minutes and 42 minutes. The Eagles put seven shots on goal in the first half, four of which were saved by Jude Dobrinska (Milwaukee, Wis./Ronald Reagan College Prep).

The Warhawks had two shots on goal in the first half. They were unable to find the gaol in the second half, putting up four shots but none on goal.

The Eagles put five shots on goal in the second half which Emma Hager (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) saved.

In total the Eagles outshot UW-Whitewater - 33 (12 on goal) to 9 (3 on goal). 

Allie Prigge (Palatine, Ill./Fremd), Megan Howard (Lakeland, Minn./Stillwater Area), and Payton Navis (Cedar Grove, Wis./Cedar Grove-Belgium) had the shots on goal for the Warhawks. 

The Warhawks will have one more road game before returning home to Fiskum Field. Women's soccer will take on Illinois Wesleyan on October 11th at 6 PM then will return home for another WIAC match-up against UW-Stevens Point on Ocotber 14th.
