Earlier in the week, Thill played the full 90 minutes in a 0-1 loss to UW-Platteville, putting up one shot. Â

Juliana Madonia (Schaumburg, Ill./James B. Conant) and the Warhawk defense kept the game against UW-Platteville close, holding the Pioneers to only one goal, below their average on the year. Madonia played the full 90 minutes against Platteville and also the full 90 minutes against UW-Stout only three days later.

Nolan Ehlers (Grayslake, Ill./Warren Township) was a key piece in controlling the defensive end for UW-Whitewater, not allowing a single Cobber shot on goal in the second half with his aggressive defense play. The Warhawks only allowed five Concordia-Moorhead shots on goal in the 3-1 victory

Women's: Abby Motz (New Berlin, WI/Eisenhower) – Freshman
Abby Motz (New Berlin, WI/Eisenhower) finished 11th overall and was the first Warhawk to finish, helping her team to a 3rd?place finish at the Warhawk Open.? Her time of 26:58 was an improvement of 1 minute 41 seconds from her time earlier in the season on the Whitewater Campus Course.

Men's: Jonah Block (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) – Sophomore
Jonah Block (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) finished 2nd overall to lead the Warhawks to the team victory at the Warhawk Open. This was the first time in his career finishing as the number one runner for the Warhawks and just the second time breaking 27:00 - two seconds off his lifetime best. |

Offensive: Alec Ogden (Marshall, Wis./Monona Grove) – Senior – Quarterback
Warhawk quarterback Alec Ogden (Marshall, Wis./Monona Grove) led No. 5 UW-Whitewater to a 37-20 win over UW-Stout Saturday. Ogden was 23-40 for 281 yards and a pair of passing touchdowns. Ogden added another 90 yards and two more touchdowns on the ground. For the game, he accounted for 371 total yards of offense and four touchdowns while reaching the 1,000 passing yard milestone for the season. Â

Defensive: Egon Hein (St. Charles, Ill./North) – Senior – Defensive Back
Egon Hein (St. Charles, Ill./North) helped lead the Warhawks to a 37-20 win over UW-Stout Saturday. Hein registered four tackles and had two pivotal pass breakups in the contest. Both pass breakups likely kept the Blue Devils from first downs – the first forcing a punt and the second holding UWS to a field goal. Â

Special Teams: Jeff Isotalo-McGuire – Sophomore – Kicker
UW-Whitewater place kicker Jeff Isotalo-McGuire was perfect on the day to help the Warhawks to a 37-20 win over UW-Stout Saturday. Isotalo-McGuire hit all four extra points and was 3-3 for field goals including two from 30 yards out and one from 33. Â

Women's Swimming: Hannah Wenszell (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Virtual) – Freshman
In this weekend's Wisconsin Showcase, Hannah Wenszell (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Virtual) swam the 400 individual medley in a time of 5:00.13 to finish as the top Division III swimmer in the event and place sixth overall. Her time is the best in the WIAC so far this season in the event. Â

Men's Diving: Drew Schmitz (Appleton, Wis./North) – Freshman
UW-Whitewater's Drew Schmitz (Appleton, Wis./North) notched to sixth-place finishes at the Wisconsin Showcase this weekend. On the one-meter board, Schmitz recorded a six-dive score of 187.90 – the third-highest for a Division III diver at the meet. His three-meter, six-dive score of 174.20 was also the third-best for a DIII diver in the event. Â

Defensive: Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) – Grad. – Libero
Warhawk libero Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) posted 4.83 digs per set to help lead UW-Whitewater to a pair of sweeps last week. Jensen registered 10 digs against Concordia Wisconsin before capping the week with 19 in a three-setter against UW-Stout. She now leads the WIAC in digs per set. Â
