Baseball

Phillips, Nelson

Position: Nelson Phillips IV – Outfielder – Senior – Elm Grove, Wis./Brookfield East


Nelson Phillips IV led the Warhawks at the plate in their 5-0 start to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Challenge. As the Warhawks’ lead-off hitter, Phillips IV had an OPS of 1.367 and a batting average of .600 with seven runs scored. Once on base, the senior went five for five on steal attempts. 
 

Steuber, Sam

Pitcher: Sam Steuber – Pitcher – Muskego, Wis./Muskego
 

Sam Steuber recorded three appearances, starting twice during the Warhawks’ 5-0 start at the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Challenge. On the week, Steuber threw for 12.1 innings, fanning 12 batters. His best start of the week was against Carroll, going 7.0, scattering seven hits and only two runs. Steuber fanned eight Pioneers in his first win of the season. 
 

Softball

Position: Dani Peshia – Sophomore – DP/Catcher – Newark, Ill./Newark Community
 

Dani Peshia was perfect at the plate in the Warhawks first twinbill of their annual Florida trip. The sophomore was 1-1 with a double and three RBI in UW-Whitewater’s 13-0, five-inning win over Springfield. Peshia added a hit in the second game of the day against Babson while drawing a pair of walks. For the week, Peshia hit 1.000 (2-2) with a slugging percentage of 1.500 adding three RBI and three walks drawn. 
 

Pitcher: Josie Hammen – Junior – RHP – Combined Locks, Wis./Kimberly

Josie Hammen picked up the win in UW-Whitewater’s 13-0, five inning win over Springfield this week. The junior allowed a single hit while fanning three in three innings of work. 

Men's Tennis

Moeller, Keith

Singles: Keith Moeller – Sophomore – Dallas, Tex./ DKM-I University Prep
 

Keith Moeller picked up the lone singles flight for the Warhawks in their match against DII Roosevelt. Moeller won in straight sets, taking the match 6-1, 6-4.

Jonsson, Julius

Doubles: Julius Jonsson – Freshman – Kungsbacka, Sweden/Aranäsgymnasiet & Keith Moeller – Sophomore – Dallas, Tex./ DKM-I University Prep
 

Julius Jonsson & Keith Moeller helped the Warhawks pick up the doubles point against DII Roosevelt in their dual on Saturday against the Lakers.
