The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team registered a 7-0 shutout at Monmouth College this morning at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
All 28 players entered the game at some point, and all 28 contributed to the win in some fashion.
Cooper Re (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) sparked the offensive dominance with the first goal of the day off an assist by
Nolan Ehlers (Grayslake, Ill./Warren Township) in the 23rd minute.
Dominic Mudlaff (Muskego, Wis./Waukesha Catholic Memorial) tallied his first goal of the season from a
Will Morgan (Naperville, Ill./Central) assist to extend the Warhawk lead to 2-0 going into the second half.
Faizan Mohiuddin (South Elgin, Ill./St. Charles North) took a penalty kick in the 46th minute besting the Scots' keeper for his first goal of the day.
Tucker Jahns (Elburn, Ill./Kaneland) found
Jalen Holley (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa East) who made it a four-goal game in the 51st minute.
Zeke Healy (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) found the back of the net just three minutes later.
Mohuiddin registered her second goal of the game, this time off a pass from
Jacob Mouille (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee) to make it 6-0. The final goal of the game came off of
Peyton Nichols (Green Bay, Wis./Bayport) boot with Ehlers tallying the assist.
UW-Whitewater attacked the goal with a total of 32 shots including 21 on goal.
The Warhawks wrap up their first week of action Sunday at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m.
