The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team remained undefeated in dual matches this season with an 8-1 win at UW-Oshkosh Wednesday afternoon. The Warhawks are 4-0 overall and 3-0 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual matches this season.
Courtney Day (Oshkosh, Wis./North) and
Kellie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) opened the afternoon for the Warhawks. As the first score to come in, the pair topped Oshkosh's duo 8-1.
Autumn Bruno (Milwaukee, Wis./Greenfield Whitnall) and
Cassie Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) followed with an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles followed by
Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) and
Faith Nosek's (Oconomowoc, Wis./BVA) 8-4 win at No. 3
The first singles final to come in was a win at No. 2 for
Kasey Schlicht (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee). Lee followed with a win at No. 1 singles to clinch the team victory.
Kellie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd),
Molly Asfeld (Waukesha, Wis./West) and Day also picked up singles wins Wednesday.
