The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team topped Carthage 2-1 on the road Wednesday night. The Warhawks' have not lost a match in seven outings, since the season opener.

The Warhawks offense dominated the game holding a 16-4 advantage in shots and 13-2 sway in corner kicks.

Nina Malak (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) opened the scoring finding the back of the net off an assist from
Emily Thill (West Chicago, Ill./St. Francis) in the 28
th minute. The goal was the lone score of the first half.

After the intermission,
Megan Howard (Lakeland, Minn./Stillwater Area) made it 2-0 UW-Whitewater besting the Carthage keeper in the 66
th minute.
Allie Prigge (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) registered the assist and has tallied a goal or assist in the three of the last four outings for the Warhawks.

Carthage cut the lead in half with a goal in the 82
nd minute, the UW-W defense held for the win.
