The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team defeated DePauw 4-0 in the team's first contest of the "W" Challenge at Fiskum Field in Whitewater. The win marks the fourth straight for the Warhawks.

The first game of the tournament saw Washington University in St. Louis top Rhodes College. The Lynx will face DePauw in the 11 am matchup Sunday followed by a meeting between UW-Whitewater and WashU at 1:30 pm.

Not even two minutes into the contest,
Sarah Clancy (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) got UW-W on the board with what would be the eventual game-winner.
Allie Prigge (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) made it 2-0 capitalizing on a pass from
Oakley Witteck (De Pere, Wis./De Pere) in the 17
th minute.

On the other side of the break,
Emily Thill (West Chicago, Ill./St. Francis) entered the scoring column in the 54
th minute. Prigge struck again in the 65
th, this time off of an assist from
Jessica Smeltzer (Schaumburg, Ill./James B. Conant), to make it 4-0.

Jude Dobrinska (Milwaukee, Wis./Ronald Reagan College Prep) and
Emma Hager (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) split time in goal for UW-W with Dobrinska registering the lone save.
