The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is represented by a number of fall programs in national polls/rankings. This week's edition of Warhawks in the Rankings is presented by Qdoba.

Volleyball
 
The Warhawks fell to 15th after going 3-2 last week. UW-Whitewater bounced back to open Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Tuesday with a 3-1 win over league rival UW-Oshkosh.  

Next Up for UW-W: The Warhawks will host the annual Dig Panici Classic. Whitewater is set to face Coe College Friday at 7 pm. Saturday's matches for the Warhawks feature Concordia Wisconsin at 10 a.m. and North Central at 2 p.m.
 
Football
 
The Warhawks jumped back to fourth in the latest d3football.com poll after a phenomenal win over former No. 1 Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday. An instant classic with over 14,000 fans packing the Perk to cheer on the Warhawks, UW-Whitewater took down the Crusaders 28-24. 

Next Up for UW-W: The Warhawks will head to Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia for their final non-conference game of the season Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. Central.
 
Cross Country
 
The Warhawk men held steady at ninth in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Poll. The Warhawks won the Ken Weidt Invitational sweeping the top three spots last Saturday. UW-Whitewater is also ranked second in the region. 

In addition, the Warhawk women's cross country team entered the regional rankings for the first time since 2019. 

Next Up for UW-W: UW-Whitewater will host its annual Tom Hoffman Invitational on its campus Saturday, September 17. The meet has been designated Senior Day presented by Educators Credit Union and Parents Day.
