The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team fell to St. John's University 3-0 on a windy, rainy day at Fiskum Field in Whitewater.
The rain never stopped, and at times was close to a downpour, but Fiskum Field could handle the water as nearby areas flooded.
The Johnnies scored in the 10th minute before adding another in the 17th. The third goal of the contest came in the 66th minute.
The Warhaks had opportunities with four players registering shots on frame, but all four were turned away by the Johnnie's keeper. UW-W's goalkeeper,
Jake King (McHenry, Ill./McHenry West) got the start and went the first 45 in net posting two saves.
Matthew Vollmer (Lake Zurich, Ill./Lake Zurich) took over at the break and tallied a save in the final 45.
