NCAA Outdoor Championships Microsite
Three members of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater track and field program wrapped up competition Friday on the second day at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
On the women's side,
Abigail Missiaen (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) moved up two spots over the final three events in the heptathlon to place 12th in the event. She made her biggest jump of the day in the javelin throw with a toss of 109-00 (33.22 meters), good for seventh place among the group.
Competing at her first national meet,
Paige Fassbender (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) finished 15th in the 800-meter run with her time of 2:13.10.
The women were tied for 15th in the team standings through the second day of competition.
For the men,
Landon Keefover (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) placed 19th in the 110-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 15.09 seconds.
