UW-Platteville Results
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's track and field teams competed Friday in last chance meets at UW-Platteville and Carthage as they attempt to post qualifying marks for next week's NCAA Indoor Championships.
At UW-Platteville,
Landon Keefover (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) improved his personal best time in the 60-meter hurdles to 8.21 seconds, which currently ranks 15th in NCAA Division III and was good for second place.
Tamir Thomas (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) finished third with a time of 8.29 seconds.
Daustin Martin (Jefferson, Wis./Jefferson) posted his personal record toss in the shot put at Carthage with a 51-00.75 (15.56 meters), good for fourth place at the meet and a top 30 national distance.
On the women's side,
Gracie Holland (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield) finished third in the pole vault with a height of 11-11.75 (3.65 meters). She currently ranks fourth in the nation in the event.
The Warhawks will compete in last chance meets Saturday at Wartburg and Ripon.
