The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's volleyball team wrapped up its trip to the east coast with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-9) sweep of Montclair State in New Jersey.
The Warhawk offense was rolling hitting over .270 in each set including a .355 attack efficiency in the third. UW-W put the pressure on from the service line with a 12-4 advantage in aces.
Jenna Weinfurt (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial) led the offensive attack with a match-high 12 kills adding three aces.
Hailey Mackenthun (Webster, Minn./Northfield) and
KellyAnn Sotiros (New Berlin, Wis./West Allis Hale) also registered three aces each. Sotiros posted 17 assists.
Defensively,
Kirsten Anderson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) tallied five blocks while
Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) and
Allyson Warburton (St. Charles, Ill./North) led the Warhawks with 10 digs a piece.
