The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team defeated Carroll University 3-1 at Fiskum Field Wednesday evening.
There was no shortage of offense Wednesday as the teams combined for 34 shots in the contest.
The Pioneers opened the scoring with a goal in the 12th minute.
Sebastian Pagan Vega (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) had the equalizer for the Warhawks.
Will Morgan (Naperville, Ill./Central) tallied the assist with a great through ball the Pagan Vega who took a right footed shot on the ground to the bottom left corner of goal to make it 1-1 in the 42nd minute.
Just seconds before the half,
Tucker Jahns (Elburn, Ill./Kaneland) capitalized on a rebound off the post burying the ball into the bottom left corner of the net for a 2-1 UW-W lead.
Jacob Mouille (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee) gave Whitewater a cusion with a goal off of an assist from
Jalen Holley (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa East) in the 61st minute.
Jake King (McHenry, Ill./McHenry West) posted four saves in the complete game in goal for the Warhawks.
