The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team wrapped up its non-conference slate with a 5-0 win at Viterbo Tuesday evening.
More than 20 Warhawks saw action in the contest as three first half goals gave UWW a hefty advantage.
Nina Malak (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) led the offensive onslaught with a goal and pair of assists.
Less than four minutes into the contest, Malak registered an unassisted goal to open the scoring.
Allie Prigge (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) followed with her first goal of the match in the 13th minute off an assist from
Emily Thill (West Chicago, Ill./St. Francis).
Jessica Smeltzer (Schaumburg, Ill./James B. Conant) wrapped up scoring in the first half with a goal in the 21st minute that Malak assisted on.
On the other side of the break, Prigge struck again, this time making good on an
Oakley Witteck (De Pere, Wis./De Pere) pass in the 52nd minute.
Brittany Ellinghaus (Plainfield, Ill./North) tallied the final score of the contest with Malak registering another assist to make it 5-0 in the 70th minute.
The Warhawks posted a 14-9 advantage in shots while corner kicks were even 3-3.
Jude Dobrinska (Milwaukee, Wis./Ronald Reagan College Prep) and
Emma Hager (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) split time in net, combining for three saves and the shutout.
