Autumn Bruno (Milwaukee, Wis./Greenfield Whitnall) and Cassie Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team won the 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional doubles championship Sunday at the Warhawk Outdoor Tennis Complex to earn All-America honors for the 2021-22 season.
 
Bruno and Lee downed top-seeded Bethel 8-4 to earn a spot in the title match and punch their automatic ticket to the ITA Cup, which is scheduled for Oct. 14-17 in Rome, Ga.
 
In the final, the duo defeated No. 5 seed UW-Eau Claire 6-3, 6-3 to place first out of 50 doubles teams in the draw.
 
In singles action, Bruno knocked off top-seeded Grace Riermann of Bethel to earn a spot in the semifinals. She was ousted from the tournament in the semifinal by No. 6 seed Sabrina Tang of Grinnell, completing the weekend with a 4-1 record.
 
The Warhawks return to action Oct. 5, visiting UW-Stevens Point for a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual match starting at 3:30 p.m.
