The No. 8 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team compiled two more victories Saturday to wrap up the UW-Whitewater Invitational at Russell Arena.
 
The Warhawks (11-1 overall) topped St. Mary's (Minn.) 25-21, 25-12, 25-12 before defeating Carroll 25-16, 25-13, 25-14 to finish the two-day tournament with a 3-0 record.
 
Following the conclusion of the tournament, Morgan Wardall (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) and Baylie Hansen (Bonduel, Wis./Shawano) were named to the All-Tournament Team.
 
In the match against St. Mary's (5-11), UW-Whitewater held the Cardinals to a minus-.068 hitting percentage and totaled 11 service aces.
 
Emily Gillen (Richfield, Wis./Slinger) and Erin McNeil (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) paced the offense with five kills apiece. Hansen, Kirsten Anderson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie), Jenna Weinfurt (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial) and Holly Kropke (Channahon, Ill./Minooka) each registered four kills. Hannah Proctor (Durand, Ill./Durand) finished with a team-best four blocks and added two kills.
 
KellyAnn Sotiros (New Berlin, Wis./West Allis Hale) posted 17 assists and added nine digs. Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) tied Sotiros for the team lead with nine digs, and Weinfurt contributed six digs.
 
After trailing 2-0 in the first, the Warhawks came back to tie the set at 4-4, and took the lead for good on the next point, never trailing again at any point in the match.
 
Against Carroll (3-12), five Warhawks finished with four or more kills in a balanced effort, and UW-W held the Pioneers to a minus-.019 hitting percentage.
 
Weinfurt paced UW-Whitewater with six kills to go along with five digs. Hansen and Kirsten Anderson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) each finished with five kills and three blocks, with Anderson adding two service aces and three digs.
 
Wardall collected four kills and three blocks, and Allyson Warburton (St. Charles, Ill./North) posted four kills, two blocks and four digs.
 
Sotiros generated 14 assists and seven digs, and Paige Manssen (Bull Valley, Ill./McHenry West) amassed 11 assists and four digs. Jensen led the back row with 19 digs to go with three assists.
 
UW-Whitewater visits St. Norbert this Tuesday at 7 p.m.
