Meinerz Impresses at UW-Whitewater’s NFL Pro Day

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz (Hartford, Wis./Hartford Union) was measured, tested and worked out in front of representatives from all 32 National Football League teams Tuesday at UW-Whitewater's Pro Day held at the Williams Center and Perkins Stadium.

Meinerz, a consensus All-American guard and captain in 2019 and a three-year standout for the Warhawks from 2017-19, impressed NFL general managers, directors of college scouting and offensive line coaches over the course of the day. He was tested in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump and other measurements of speed, quickness and agility.

Meinerz worked out with former UW-W All-American Nate Trewyn (Janesville, Wis./Milton) (2016-18), who spent time on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers active roster in 2019, and Alex Herink, a former UW-River Falls wide receiver.
