The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team played its third straight scholarship opponent to start the 2021 season Friday night, falling 7-0 at Division I Northern Illinois.
 
The Warhawks (0-3 overall) also faced NAIA opponent Cardinal Stritch and Division I Milwaukee earlier this month.
 
Molly Rueth (Wheaton, Ill./Glenbard West) and Courtney Day (Oshkosh, Wis./North) claimed a pair of games at No. 3 doubles. Sabrina Palavra (Skokie, Ill./Niles North) picked up a combined five games at No. 4 singles to lead UW-W.
 
UW-Whitewater hosts Millikin (Ill.) Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lake Geneva Tennis.
