The No. 13 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team posted several impressive performances Saturday at the CUW Open in Mequon.
 
Jaritt Shinhoster (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Barrington), Chad Richards (Loves Park, Ill./Harlem) and Cadin Koeppel (Cary, Ill./Cary-Grove) each reached the finals of their respective draws at 184, 197 and 285 pounds, respectively.
 
Ryan Vedner (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) finished third at 174 pounds, and Tommy Hoy (Wauconda, Ill./Carmel Catholic) and Ethan Pogorzelski (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) placed fifth at 165 and 133, respectively. Dakarai Clay (Madison, Wis./Madison East) and Jake Burford (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) each finished sixth at 141 and 149 pounds, respectively.
 
Shelby Jones (Dodgeville, Wis./Dodgeville) won the consolation final at 285 pounds, while Isaiah Mohmed (Valparaiso, Ind./Wheeler) reached the consolation final at 157.
 
The Warhawks head to the MSOE Invite in Milwaukee and the Parkside Open in Kenosha on Dec. 4.
