The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team earned two spots in doubles finals and six spots in singles semifinals Saturday on the first day of the two-day Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship (Presented by Culver's) at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
 
Olivia Kraft (Bloomington, Ill./Normal Community) and Autumn Bruno (Milwaukee, Wis./Greenfield Whitnall), the third seed at No. 1 doubles, finished 2-0 for the day to reach Sunday's final. The duo topped UW-Oshkosh in its first match before outlasting second-seeded UW-La Crosse 8-7 (7), and will face top-seeded UW-Eau Claire for the bracket championship.
 
Madalyn Bigelow (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) and Kellie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) will also compete for a title on Sunday after defeating fourth-seeded UW-Stevens Point in their semifinal match at No. 3 doubles. The top-seeded pair will face second-seeded UW-Eau Claire in the final.
 
Molly Rueth (Wheaton, Ill./Glenbard West) and Courtney Day (Oshkosh, Wis./North) finished 1-1 for the day at No. 2 doubles with a win against UW-Oshkosh and a loss against second-seeded UW-La Crosse. Rueth and Day will play UW-Stevens Point in Sunday's third-place match.
 
The Warhawks punched tickets to all six doubles semifinals. Bruno, Gianna Nikoleit (Elmhurst, Ill./York Community), Kraft, Ha, Day and Rueth are all still alive for championships at the Nos. 1-6 spots, respectively.
 
Tournament play resumes Sunday at 9 a.m. in Madison.
