The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team claimed its eighth straight dual victory Sunday, defeating Wabash (Ind.) 9-0 at Lake Geneva Tennis.
The Warhawks (8-1 overall) dropped only three singles games on the day as they wrapped up their eight-match home stand with their fourth dual sweep.

Robert Rider (Annapolis, Md./South River) and sophomore
Noah Guillermo (Muskego, Wis./Marquette University HS) posted an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles to put UW-W on the board, and sophomore
Brendan Pietila (Sussex, Wis./Arrowhead) and freshman
Cole Lindwall (Cottage Grove, Wis./Monona Grove) tallied an 8-0 triumph at No. 2. Seniors
Rory Calabria (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) and
Zach Wood (Downers Grove, Ill./South) won by default at the third position as the Little Giants (0-7) competed one player short in their lineup.
Guillermo and Rider were first on the board in singles. Guillermo recorded a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2, and Rider collected a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3. Wood earned a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at the No. 1 position.
Lindwall and PIetila completed the Warhawk sweep at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores. Freshman
Danila Borovykh (Ryazan, Russia/Boca Prep International School (Fla.)) picked up a victory at No. 6 by default.
UW-Whitewater travels to Delaware, Ohio, next Saturday for dual matches at Ohio Wesleyan (9 a.m. Central Time) and against Wooster (2:30 p.m. Central Time).
