The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team shut out Rockford University on Saturday night by a score of 1-0.

The Warhawks continue their undefeated season as they improve to 7-0 and extend their active win streak to 13 matches, while the Regents drop to 3-5.

The first and only goal came in the 24th minute of the match. A shot by
Steven Wright (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake) hit the crossbar, and
Brad Ludwig (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) was able to get the rebound and kick it into the back of the net.

UW-W was able to record three more shots on goal, but the score stayed at 1-0 to finish out the first half.

Possession remained primarily with the Warhawks throughout the second half as they were able to record an additional six shots.

UW-Whitewater out-shot Rockford 15-6, including a 6-2 margin on goal.
Jake King (McHenry, Ill./McHenry West) was able to account for two saves throughout the game.

UW-Whitewater will host Olivet College on Sunday at 12 p.m. at Fiskum Field.
