The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's swimming and diving programs have announced the 2019-20 competition schedule, which begins with an alumni exhibition meet on Oct. 5 at the Williams Center.
 
The Warhawks begin competition Oct. 12 at Illinois Tech, then head to Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer for the annual All-Wisconsin Invitational on Oct. 19.
 
UW-Whitewater hosts its first home meet of the year Nov. 9 against Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe UW-Oshkosh. The teams visit Southern Illinois University for the Saluki Invite on Nov. 14-16 in Carbondale, Ill. 
 
The Warhawks return to WIAC competition one week later with a trip to UW-Stevens Point scheduled for Nov. 23.
 
An annual tri-meet against Lake Forest (Ill.) and Lawrence starts the 2020 calendar year Jan. 18 in Lake Forest. UW-Whitewater finishes the regular season with back-to-back conference meets against UW-Eau Claire (Jan. 25) and at UW-La Crosse (Feb. 1). The meet against the Blugolds will be the teams' final meet at the Williams Center for the year.
 
The WIAC Championships are slated for Feb. 13-15 at Schroeder Aquatic Center. The NCAA Championships will be held March 18-21 at Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
 
The Warhawks finished 3-3 in dual meets last season and placed fourth at the 2019 WIAC Championships, while the women recorded an identical 3-3 mark and finished third at the conference meet.
 
UW-Whitewater enters its second season under head coach Elise Knoche, who was named permanent head coach in July after holding an interim title in 2018-19.
