The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's track and field teams competed Saturday at the Pointer Invitational in Stevens Point, Wis.
The Warhawk men totaled 146.5 points to place second, while the women earned 81.17 points on their way to a fourth-place finish.
The men claimed four events. Junior
Oren Henderson-Zintz (Madison, Wis./La Follette) posted a 7.08 to win the 60-meter dash, and junior
Jake Schneider (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth) won the 200-meter dash in 22.63 seconds.

Zach Jasinski (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) recorded the top height in the pole vault with a 16-02.75 (4.95 meters), and the distance medley relay team of freshman
Mathias Otten (Sheboygan, Wis./Sheboygan Lutheran), junior
Ethan Kern (Muskego, Wis./Muskego), junior
Seth Zimdars (Ripon, Wis./Ripon) and freshman
Nick Key (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port) ran uncontested, crossing the finish line in 11:23.14.

Alex Duff (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) finished as runner-up in the 400-meter dash, and freshman
Landon Keefover (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) placed second in the 60-meter hurdles with a season-best 8.45. Senior
Dylan Ferger (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Turner) registered the No. 2 height in the high jump with a 6-06.00 (1.98 meters).
The women's distance medley relay team of sophomore Julia Fewell, senior Tiffany Bianco, sophomore Sarah Daley and sophomore Kennedy Hauser ran uncontested to a first-place finish in 14:13.91. Sophomore Emery Podowicz finished as runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles with a 9.99 (9.89 in prelims), and junior Madi McDonald and sophomore Sydney Davidson tied for second in the pole vault with matching heights of 10-07.00 (3.23 meters).
Other top finishers for the women included junior Abbie Felton, who was third in the 400-meter dash in a season-best 58.07 seconds, good for a top-five mark in the nation. Sophomore Jessie Braun placed third in both the 800-meter run (2:28.62) and the 1-mile run (5:25.82).
The Warhawks return home next Saturday, Feb. 9, for the Midwest ELITE Invitational. Events begin at 11 a.m. at Kachel Fieldhouse.
