The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team remained undefeated in dual matches Tuesday with a 9-0 sweep at UW-Stevens Point in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match at SentryWorld Golf Course.
The Warhawks (6-0 overall, 5-0 WIAC) dropped only three games in singles and just five in doubles play on the way to their 101st consecutive dual win over a conference opponent.
The Pointers dropped to 5-6 overall and 1-3 in league play with the loss.
UW-Whitewater worked quickly in singles. Senior
Madeline Slicker (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 3, and sophomore
Elsie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) won by the same score at No. 4. Freshman
Courtney Day (Oshkosh, Wis./North) tallied a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at the fifth position, and sophomore
Molly Rueth (Wheaton, Ill./Glenbard West) claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at the sixth slot.

Olivia Kraft (Bloomington, Ill./Normal Community) clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 2, and junior
Paige Nierman (Hawthorn Woods, Ill./Stevenson) posted a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at No. 1 to finish the singles sweep.
Kraft and Day teamed up for an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles, and sophomores
Bryce Bigelow (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) and
Madalyn Bigelow (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) collected an 8-1 victory at No. 3. Rueth and freshman
Megan Setter (Kenosha, Wis./St. Joseph Catholic Academy) concluded the match with an 8-1 triumph at the top slot.
The Warhawks host the Warhawk Fall Invitational this Friday and Saturday at Wangerin Courts. The tournament includes Division I Green Bay and NAIA opponents Cardinal Stritch, Roosevelt (Ill.) and St. Francis (Ill.).
