Warhawk Concert Series
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team welcomes its alumni back to Perkins Stadium next Saturday, Oct. 6, for the game against No. 12 UW-Oshkosh, which begins at 2 p.m.
The Warhawks-Titans match-up is also part of UW-Whitewater's annual Family Fest for students, faculty and staff to host family members on campus.
As part of Alumni Day, the following championship anniversaries will be recognized on the field at the end of the first quarter:
1978 WIAC champions (40th anniversary)
1988 WIAC champions (30th anniversary)
1998 WIAC champions (20th anniversary)
2008 WIAC champions/NCAA Division III national runners-up (10th anniversary)
2013 WIAC champions/NCAA Division III national champions (fifth anniversary)
All football alumni in attendance will be recognized by decade on the field at halftime. Alums with more questions are encouraged to contact the Warhawk football office at 262-472-1453 or

Family Fest includes events for children of all ages, including the Kids Jr. Pom Pom Clinic (grades K-8) from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and Willie's Fun Zone, which opens at 11:30 a.m. and features photos with Willie Warhawk, a free-throw contest with the UW-Whitewater men's and women's club wheelchair basketball teams, face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon animals, cotton candy and a live DJ.

The Warhawk Concert Series also continues at 12 p.m. with the Eddie Butts Band, which plays a blend of pop, funk, top 40, adult contemporary and R&B.
