The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team closed its 2016-17 regular season Sunday with a 6-3 triumph over 35th-ranked Coe (Iowa) in a dual match at Premier Tennis and Fitness in Janesville.
The Warhawks (14-11 overall) won all three doubles matches and split six singles contests to emerge with their fourth consecutive dual match victory.

Zane Navratil (Racine, Wis./The Prairie School) and sophomore
Jimmy Engelhart (Brookfield, Wis./East) put UW-Whitewater on the board with an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Junior
Matt Zurowski (West Bend, Wis./East) and sophomore
Brandon Dechter (Mundelein, Ill./Carmel Catholic) followed suit at the third position with an 8-5 triumph, and sophomore
Rory Calabria (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) and freshman
Zach Wood (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove) grinded through a tiebreaker to post a 9-8 victory at the second position.
The Kohawks (23-5) claimed the first three matches in singles to tie the score at 3-3, but the Warhawks ended the run as Calabria pulled out a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win at No. 4.
Navratil provided the match-clinching point at the No. 2 spot, tallying a 2-6, 7-6 (7), 7-5 triumph. Wood provided the final margin with a 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) victory at No. 6.
UW-Whitewater will learn its NCAA Championship fate in a press release announcing the field to be published on Monday, May 8, on
NCAA.com. The Warhawks have made 10 consecutive appearances in the national tournament.
