The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team remained unbeaten against NCAA Division III opponents Friday with wins over Ohio Wesleyan and Wheaton (Ill.) at Premier Tennis and Fitness in Janesville.
The Warhawks (4-2 overall) downed Ohio Wesleyan 8-1 before edging Wheaton 5-4 to close out the day.

Jimmy Engelhart (Brookfield, Wis./East) teamed up for a 9-8 (1) victory at the No. 1 spot.
Wood gave UW-Whitewater at 3-1 lead thanks to a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles, and sophomore
Brandon Dechter (Mundelein, Ill./Carmel Catholic) earned a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at No. 5.
Freshman
Lucas Monterroso (Montevideo, Uruguay/Colegio Jesus Maria) clinched the match for the Warhawks with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 6.
Junior
Matt Zurowski (West Bend, Wis./East) recovered from a first-set setback to deliver a 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-8) win at the third position, and Engelhart fought off a loss in the opening set by tiebreak for a 6-7 (5), 6-0, 1-0 (10-8) triumph at the second position.
Junior
Zane Navratil (Racine, Wis./The Prairie School) capped UW-Whitewater scoring with a 6-2, 7-6 (4) victory over Diego Venegas at No. 1.
In the match against Wheaton (0-3), the Warhawks took two of three doubles matches. Wood and Calabria paired for an 8-4 win at No. 2, and Navratil and Zurowski combined for an 8-3 triumph at No. 3.
Thompson put UW-Whitewater on the board in singles play, posting a 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8) victory at the first position. Calabria contributed a 6-3, 6-1 win at the fifth spot, and Wood earned the decisive team point with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at the sixth slot.
The Warhawks continue play in Janesville Saturday at 3:30 p.m. against Grinnell (Iowa).
