The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is set to host its 52nd annual Athletic Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 24.
The day of celebration begins at 11 a.m. with a tailgate at Coulthart Family Pavilion prior to the Warhawk football game against Morningside (Iowa) at 1 p.m. at Perkins Stadium.
Initial recognition of the 2016 induction class will take place at halftime of the football game inside of Perkins Stadium.
Following the game, a social reception will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the lobby of the James R. Connor University Center. The banquet and ceremony begins at 5:45 p.m. in the University Center's Hamilton Room.
Jeremy Burks, Stuart Elzy, Melinda (Erickson) Hoffman, Megan (Kerkman) Le Quesne, Kara (Krumenauer) Meissen, Allison (Erickson) Tenhagen, Steve Tenhagen and Ryan Zelhofer will be inducted as former student-athletes. Former men's basketball assistant coach LaMont Weaver will be inducted under the category of athletic department personnel, and former Chancellor Richard Telfer and his wife, Roni, will be inducted with the Distinguished Service Award.

Induction sponsors will be recognized based on contribution level:
Contributor Level ($25-$499): Recognition in the Hall of Fame induction banquet program
Sponsor Level ($500+): Recognition on the inductee's Hall of Fame plaque, recognition in the banquet program and two complimentary tickets to the Hall of Fame game and Induction Banquet
