Basketball

Marino, Brock

Men’s Basketball: Brock Marino — Junior — Forward — Lake Villa, Ill./Lakes Community

Brock Marino was the leading force in the Warhawks overtime victory over UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. With the Warhawks trailing by 10-points in the second half, Marino took over the game. The junior scored 13 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from the field in the second half alone to help lead the Warhawks' comeback. Marino finished the game with 19-points, shooting 8-for-10 from the field, and pulled down 10-rebounds, recording his third double-double of the season.

Krohn, Caden

Women’s Basketball: Caden Krohn – Sophomore – Forward – Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West

o Caden Krohn led the Warhawks to a pair of wins last week. The sophomore averaged 12 points in less than 20 minutes per game while shooting over 61% from the floor. Krohn opened the week with 12 points on 6-8 from the field in Wednesday’s win over UW-Platteville. On Saturday, she was a single rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. For the week, Krohn averaged 12 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal per game.

Gymnastics

Specialist: Juliette Rider – Freshman – San Antonio, Texas/Acellus Academy

Juliette Rider won the vault at a Division I quad hosted by Sacramento State Friday. Rider’s 9.85 is the best vault score for a Division III gymnast this season and ranks third in program history. Her top mark also helped the Warhawks break the program record on vault as a team with a total of 48.600.

Multi-Event: Paige Magel – Junior – Cary, Ill./Prairie Ridge

Paige Magel was the Warhawks top finisher on the bars and second highest finisher on the beam at last week’s Division I quad hosted by Sacramento State. Magel was the top DIII gymnast on the uneven bars registering a 9.775 to tie for the seventh. She added a 9.65 on the balance beam.

Men's Tennis

Michaels, Carter

Singles: Carter Michaels — Freshman — Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Eagan

Carter Michaels went 2-0 in the Warhawks' two duals on Saturday. Against MSOE, Michaels clinched the match point at the fourth singles flight with a 6-4, 6-4 victory. In the Warhawks' second match of the day against Carroll, the freshman won the third singles flight (6-4, 6-1) to finish the day 2-0.

Billson, Theo

Doubles: Carter Michaels — Freshman — Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Eagan & Theo Billson — Junior — Lindfield, England/BHASVIC

Carter Michaels and Theo Billson went 2-0 in the Warhawks' two duals on Saturday. The pair defeated the top duo from MSOE 6-3 to start the dual. Against Carroll, Billson & Michaels were able to secure the doubles point for UWW by defeating the Pioneers' top pair, 6-1.

Track & Field

Beightol, Caleb

Men's Track: Caleb Beightol — Junior — Belgium, Wis./Cedar Grove-Belgium

Caleb Beightol took both the top time in the prelims and the finals of the 60m dash at the Karl Schlender Invitational in Whitewater on Saturday. Beightol ran a 6.85 in the prelims, then improved his time in the finals to a 6.80 to take the gold.

Men's Field: Jack Froslee — Freshman — Andover, Minn./Andover

Jack Froslee placed first overall in the pole vault at the Karl Schlender Invitational in Whitewater on Saturday. The freshman recorded the ninth highest vault mark in program history, clearing the 4.65m (15-0.300) bar on his second attempt.

Huerta, Kelly

Women's Track: Angela Dale – Sophomore – Sprints – Milwaukee, Wis./Nicolet

Angela Dale won the 60-meter dash at the annual Karl Schlender Invite. Dale registered a person best time of 7.87 in the finals topping multiple Division II runners from Northern Michigan and UW-Parkside.

Czarnecki, Ryleigh

Women's Field: Ryleigh Czarnecki – Junior – Throws – Muskego, Wis./Muskego

§ Ryleigh Czarnecki posted a pair of sixth place finishes in the throws at the Karl Schlender Invite Saturday. She registered a distance of 11.41 meters (37-5.25) in the shot put and a throw of 14.73 meters (48-4) in the weight throw.
