Basketball

Bara, Luke

Men’s Basketball – Luke Bara – Senior – Guard – Muskego, Wis./Muskego

Luke Bara set a new career high with 27 points against UW-Stevens Point. The senior guard made four threes and shot 11-for-12 from the free throw line on his way to the career mark. Against the Pointers, Bara added three assists and two steals to his line. The following game against UW-River Falls, Bara hit two threes for six points. On the week, Bara averaged 16.5 points while shooting 46% from behind the arc (6-for-13).

Stenklyft, Brooke

Women’s Basketball: Brooke Stenklyft – Freshman – Forward – Cambridge, Wis./Cambridge

Warhawk forward Brooke Stenklyft led UW-Whitewater to a pair of conference wins last week. In over 30 minutes of action at UW-Stevens Point, Stenklyft made half of her shots for 11 points adding three assists and three rebounds. She capped the week with 12 points on 5-8 from the floor and a game-high five assists in UWW’s win over UW-River Falls Saturday. For the week, Stenklyft shot 56% from the floor averaging 11.5 points and four assists per contest.

Gymnastics

Specialist: Juliette Rider – Freshman – San Antonio, Texas/Acellus Academy

In her first collegiate meet, Juliette Rider absolutely stuck her vault to claim gold in UW-Whitewater’s dual at Oshkosh. Rider scored a 9.775 on her Yurchenko ½ on front pike to win the first event she competed on in 2026.

Multi-Event: Paige Magel – Junior – Cary, Ill./Prairie Ridge

Paige Magel led UW-Whitewater in a dual at Oshkosh on Friday. Magel tied for first on the uneven bars with a score of 9.75. She added a 9.65 on the balance beam to claim second and was the Warhawks’ top scorer on the floor exercise with a routine that scored 9.675.

Wrestling

Mallinder, Dominik

Wrestling: Dominik Mallinder – Senior – 149 Pounds – Roselle, Ill./Lake Park

Dominik Mallinder went 4-0, including a pair of wins over ranked opponents, to lead UW-Whitewater at the National Duals over the weekend. Ranked third according to the NWCA, Mallinder opened the duals with a 21-5 technical fall over Dubuque’s Porforio Govea. He followed with back-to-back wins over ranked opponents – a 7-3 decision over #5 Taylor Smith (Roanoke) and 10-6 decision over #6 Maksim Mukhamadaliyev (Chicago). Mallinder capped the duals with a 16-3 major decision over Millikin’s Sabri Sino.
