Fans of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football program are invited to a pregame tailgate at the Coulthart Family Pavilion at Perkins Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. prior to the Warhawks' game against Morningside (Iowa), which kicks off at 1 p.m.

Price of the all-you-can-eat buffet is $10. The Ripple Effect out of Palmyra, Wis., will provide live music sponsored by Phi Chi Epsilon, which is celebrating its 95th anniversary.

Clayton Droullard, a longtime advisor to the fraternity, was a member of former Morningside head coach George Allen's staff from 1948-50 and a head coach from 1951-55 prior to his time at UW-Whitewater. Allen was a longtime coach in the National Football League and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002.

Droullard taught mathematics at UW-Whitewater from 1955-90, including a 20-year run as Dean of Students from 1955-75. He was an honorary football coach for the Warhawks. Droullard passed away in 2012.

Phi Chi Epsilon is proud to be one of the oldest independent fraternities in continuous operation in the United States. Twenty-seven members of the UW-Whitewater Athletics Hall of Fame were members of the fraternity.

Saturday's tailgate will include those celebrating Alumni Day and Hall of Fame Day. Details on each event can be found at the links at the top of this page.
