Whitewater, Wis. – The No. 6 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team tallied two runs in the bottom of the first inning to seal a 2-1 victory over Carthage College in a non-conference affair at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium.
The Warhawks (21-6 overall) recorded four hits offensively, and two different pitchers combined to hold the Red Men (15-16 overall) to just one run despite five hits. The Warhawks' staff stranded five base runners and struck out three batters.

Daytona Bryden (Rockton, IL/Hononegah) each recorded a base hit and a run scored on the afternoon to lead the UW-Whitewater offense. Bryden scored on a passed ball, while Chamberlain scored on a sacrifice fly off of senior catcher
