Related Links:Live Scoring Web Page The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's track and field teams both competed at the UW-Platteville Last Chance Meet on Friday night looking to qualify individuals to the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.

For the men, sophomore Cameron Magee won the high jump and placed second in the triple jump. Magee won the high jump with a leap of 6-09.50 (2.07m) which was a career best for him. Magee took second with a jump of 42-10.25 (13.06m) which was another career best. Senior
CJ Klingbeil (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) was the lone Warhawk to compete in a track event, he placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.40 seconds.
Junior
Levi Perry (East Moline, Ill./United Township) won the weight throw with a toss of 58-11.25 (17.96m) which was a career best for him. Teammate
Theron Baumann (Monona Grove, Wis./Monona Grove) placed second in the shot put with a throw of 53-11.25 (16.44m). Sophomores
Aron Schwartz (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) and
Robert Starnes (Green Bay, Wis./Preble) both placed third in their respective events. Schwartz took third in the pole vault with a jump of 14-11.00 (4.55m), while Starnes took third in the long jump with a leap of 22-01.00 (6.73m). Schwartz's clearance of 14-11 was a career best.
On the women's side, senior
Tyler Henderson (Madison, Wis./Verona) won the triple jump with a jump of 36-09.00 (11.20m). Teammate
Amanda Strupp (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) was the next best finisher for the Warhawks, she placed second in the weight throw with a toss of 55-09.75 (17.01m). Junior
Genny Rose Stringer (Assumption, Ill./Assumption) took third in the shot put with a throw of 39-01.25 (11.92m). Junior
Aisha Coleman (Janesville, Wis./Craig) placed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 17-01.25 (5.21m).
UW-Whitewater will compete in tomorrow's Pointer Final Qualifier meet hosted by UW-Stevens Point. Events are set to start at 10:30 a.m.
