The No. 1 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team begins the home portion of its 2015 schedule this Saturday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m. against Finlandia (Mich.) on Hall of Fame Day at Perkins Stadium.

The Warhawks (1-0) seek to extend their college football-leading win streak to 34 games after posting a 62-6 victory at Belhaven (Miss.) last Saturday. Head coach Kevin Bullis earned his first career win as UW-Whitewater tied a school record with seven rushing touchdowns.

Finlandia (0-2), a first year college football program and member of Division III, was defeated 86-0 at UW-Oshkosh last week. The Lions are in the midst of a three-game stretch against Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams - UW-Oshkosh (Sept. 12), UW-Whitewater (Sept. 19) and UW-Stevens Point (Sept. 26).

As part of Saturday's festivities, State Representative Andy Jorgensen and State Senator Janis Ringhand will present the program with a resolution recognizing the team's 2014 national championship prior to the contest.

The 10 inductees entering the UW-Whitewater Athletics Hall of Fame, including former Warhawk punter/kicker Jeff Anding, will be introduced at halftime. The banquet is set for 4:30 p.m. with a social reception at the University Center, followed by a banquet starting at 5:45 p.m. in the University Center's Hamilton Room.
