The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team remained unbeaten in dual match play Wednesday with a 9-0 victory over UW-Stevens Point in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual match at Wangerin Courts.

The Warhawks (6-0 overall, 3-0 WIAC) have now won 59 consecutive dual matches in conference play and are coming off a banner performance at the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional Championships over the weekend.

UW-Whitewater took all three doubles matches to start the match against the Pointers (3-4, 1-3). Sophomores
Megan Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper) and
Amy Upthagrove (Muskego/Muskego) improved to 8-2 as a duo this season with an 8-1 triumph at the No. 1 spot.

Freshmen
Bridgid McGuire (Slinger/Slinger) and
Alicia Beck (Bismarck, ND/St. Mary's Central), who won the regional title and earned All-America honors based on their finish at the ITAs, posted an 8-1 win at the second slot. Junior captain
Ashley Miller (Racine/Union Grove) and freshman
Jillian Wallace (Crystal Lake, IL/Central) moved to 7-2 as a pair with an 8-3 victory at the third position.

Humphreys, the two-time defending ITA regional singles champion and All-America, won her team-leading 14th match of the year 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1. Freshman
Alexandra Talyansky (Mequon/Homestead) won by an identical score at the third position.

Beck, Wallace and sophomore
Rachel Siemon (Crystal Lake, IL/South) were all victorious at their respective slots. Beck was leading 5-2 in the first set before winning by injury default, while Wallace (6-0, 6-2) and Siemon (6-2, 6-0) were victorious in straight sets at the Nos. 5 and 6 spots, respectively.
Senior
Amanda Dick (Kenosha/St. Joseph Catholic Academy) finished off the team's sweep, registering a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at No. 2.
