JANESVILLE, Wis. - The UW-Whitewater men's tennis team finished the Warhawk Invite with wins over UW-Oshkosh, 7-2, and Lake Forest, 9-0, in Janesville, WI.

The Warhawks swept the doubles matches, with
Byron Balkin (Madison/Memorial) and
Ben Shklyar (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) winning first doubles, 8-6.
Jake Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper) and
Scott Butler (Eagan, MN/Eagan) won second doubles, 8-6, and
Cam Laktash (Crystal Lake, IL/South) and
Martin Beck (Minneapolis/South) shutout their opponent, 8-0, at third doubles.
Humphreys captured first singles in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2, and
Rithwik Rajshekhar Raman (Chennai, Tamil Nadu-India/SAIDS British Education) took third singles, 6-3, 6-0. Laktash easily won fifth singles, 6-0, 6-2, and
Michael Schnarr (Madison/Memorial) captured his first singles win in dual match play by taking sixth singles, 6-0, 6-1.

Results
UW-Whitewater opened the second match by sweeping the doubles matches for the second time. Raman and
Brian Klein (Brookfield/East) held their opponents scoreless, winning 8-0 at third doubles, and
Matt Bisbee (Chicago, IL/Marist) and Schnarr took second doubles, 8-1. Laktash and
Martin Beck (Minneapolis/South) were victorious at first doubles, 8-2, for their seventh win of the season.
Three Warhawks did not lose a game in singles action.
Scott Butler (Eagan, MN/Eagan) won at second singles, Klein won at fifth singles and Beck won at sixth singles.
Balkin won first singles, 6-0, 6-4, and Raman earned his third-consecutive win with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at second singles.
Matt Bisbee (Chicago, IL/Marist) earned his fourth-straight win by taking fourth singles, 6-2, 6-2.
The Warhawks are now 6-4 on the year and will be in action again when they host the University of Chicago on Friday.
