The Warhawk women's tennis team grabbed two wins Wednesday evening in Whitewater. UW-W opened the afternoon with a 9-0 sweep of UW-Oshkosh and followed with another 9-0 victory over Beloit.

Hillary Franzen (Wausau/West) and Megan Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper) lead Whitewater with 12 and 13 wins in singles competition respectively this season. On the doubles side, Alexandra Bayliss (Sheboygan/North) and Jackie Vitale (Roselle, IL/Lake Park) remain unbeaten at 4-0.

The Warhawks will host six schools in the UW-W Fall Invite scheduled for October 4-5. Teams competing include UW-Milwaukee, UW-Green Bay, Northern Illinois, Grand Valley, Ferris State, New Jersey Institute of Technology and Whitewater.
