The UW-Whitewater women's tennis team opened the 2013 season with a 9-0 sweep of Edgewood College in Whitewater Friday night.

After inclement weather pushed the start time back over three hours, the rain subsided allowing the teams to take to the courts.

This was the first match of the season for both teams.

The Warhawks host the annual Warhawk Invitational with seven team visiting Whitewater Saturday. The invite is scheduled to start at 9:00 am.
