UW-W will host
the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference automatic qualifying tournament Saturday on the Wangerin Courts. Whitewater, the WIAC champion the last six years, won the league championship in the fall. The top four teams in the WIAC play in the spring to see which team will earn the league's berth in the NCAA III championship tournament. UW-W, the top seed, will play fourth seeded UW-Oshkosh, and #2 UW-Eau Claire will take on #3 UW-La Crosse, with both of those matches at 12:00. The winners will meet for the NCAA III berth at 3:00, and the losers will meet for third place at the same time.
