The UW-Whitewater Warhawks defeated UW-La Crosse 9-0, and UW- Eau Claire 8-1, at home Saturday, April 20. The Warhawks, ranked 28th in the country and 5th in the region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, improve to 14-11 with the wins.  UW- La Crosse falls to 18-7 and UW- Eau Claire to 15-7.

The four teams that played Saturday are the remaining schools with Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference ties that still sponsor men's tennis. Men's tennis is no longer a men's WIAC championship sport. UW-Whitewater has taken first place in these spring match-ups of the final four teams eight of the last nine years compiling a 37-1 record over that time period.

The Warhawks will take on Kalamazoo College Sunday, April 21 at 11am, and then they will host Illinois Wesleyan and Edgewood College Monday, April 20 at 4 pm and 7pm.  All matches will be held on the Wangerin Courts, south of Kachel Fieldhouse and Williams Center, on campus.
