Whitewater extended its string of wins in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to forty-one, dating back to October 7, 2006, with an 8-1 win over UW-Eau Claire Friday on the Wangerin Courts in Whitewater.

The match was the first of the 2012-13 season for UW-W, which has earned NCAA Division III tournament berths the last five years, including an advance to the sweet sixteen of last year's national tourney.

UW-W will host the Warhawk Invitational Saturday.  Teams participating include UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, Illinois Wesleyan, Carthage, Grinnell, UW-Oshkosh and Augustana (IL).  Whitewater's courts are located south of Williams Center/Kachel Fieldhouse on the north end of campus.
