UW-Whitewater defeated UW-Eau Claire 6-0 to win the WIAC Final Four AQ at Four Lakes Athletic Club in Elkhorn, Wisconsin Saturday. With the victory UW-W, the WIAC champion, earns the league's automatic berth in the NCAA III team championship, which begins with regional play May 11. Regional sites and pairings will be announced May 8.
UW-Whitewater, 21-4 in dual meets, extended its unbeaten string in WIAC play to forty matches, dating back to October 7, 2006.
