Warhawks Remain Unbeaten...WIAC Win Streak Reaches 46

The Warhawk women's tennis team extended their current Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win streak to 46 dual matches with an 8-1 win over UW-River Falls Saturday morning, followed by a 9-0 win over host UW-Stout Saturday afternoon. UW-Whitewater is undefeated, 10-0 in all duals and 6-0 in league play, this season.

In its ten duals this season, Whitewater has won six matches 9-0 and four 8-1.  That gives the Warhawks an individual match record of 86-4 overall in those ten matches.  In WIAC play UW-W has four shutouts, and the flight totals for the six matches favor Whitewater 62-2.

UW-Whitewater will shoot for its sixth consecutive WIAC championship October 20-21 at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
