The UW-Whitewater men's basketball team is ranked second in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

Saturday the team earned its ninth consecutive win, topping UW-Stout 56-41.  UW-W's Alex Edmunds (Cedarburg/) led both teams with 24 points, making 8-8 from the free throw line and adding five steals.  Also since last week's poll, which had UW-W fifth, the Warhawks defeated UW-Oshkosh 62-45 Wednesday in Oshkosh.

The Warhawks, 17-1, will host 14-4 UW-Stevens Point Wednesday, January 25 with tipoff at 7:00 in Kachel Gym of Williams Center.  Call 262-472-2222 for ticket information.
