Carthage won the battle of ranked singles players, with Jeff Lotz, nineteenth in Central Region singles, topping McGlashen, who is sixteenth. UW-W turned the tables in doubles, with the duo of Osborne and Balkin, seventh in the region, beating the eleventh ranked team of Lotz and Hazelman.
Carthage is 10-5 in dual matches, but 0-5 against regionally ranked opponents.

Bayliss pushed his team leading win total to 23 with a hard fought battle in the number one spot while all three doubles duos recorded their first wins in their respective spots.
UW-W is now 18-4 while Lawrence is 3-11. They will next host Caroll University and Coe College next Saturday, April 9 at 9 am and 3 pm respectively.
